Hand-cut silhouette portraits

With just 5 minutes, a petite pair of scissors, and some particular paper, I capture shadow portraits of people and pets. Silhouettes were historically the everyman's alternative to the time-consuming and expensive painting or photograph. Now in an instantaneously commercial era, these portraits offer us an opportunity to intentionally connect. That is my goal with every silhouette I cut: to make community through art.
